Starting from September 1, 2026, the law on digital currencies and digital rights will come into effect, expanding the rules for cryptocurrency circulation in Russia. The company A7, which uses the ruble stablecoin A7A5, announced its readiness to share its experience with participants in foreign economic activity. Oleg Ogienko, the director of the A7A5 project, noted that the company's specialists have accumulated significant experience in the legal formalization of operations with digital assets, compliance, and currency control. After the law comes into effect, A7 will continue to apply this experience and adapt its business processes in accordance with the regulations of the Bank of Russia. The Bank of Russia clarified that exporters and importers will be able to conduct cross-border transactions in digital currency through intermediaries and directly; however, the use of such assets within the country will remain limited. The regulator's subordinate legislation will specify the requirements for operators and participants in transactions.
