Anthropic Reports Over $11.5 Billion in Q2 Revenue, Growing at Least 14 Times
Prefer us on GoogleAnthropic's preliminary revenue for the second quarter exceeded $11.5 billion, representing at least a 14-fold increase compared to $787 million in the same period last year, and surpassing the $4.73 billion reported in the first quarter of this year. The company achieved positive adjusted operating profit for the quarter. As more professionals use its software to streamline programming and other workflows, Anthropic's business growth has noticeably accelerated. In May of this year, Anthropic's annualized revenue surpassed $47 billion. In comparison, OpenAI's annualized revenue exceeds $40 billion, although the calculation methods for both may not be entirely consistent. The competition in the artificial intelligence sector has intensified this year, with IPO financing reaching $256.4 billion, a new high since 2021 (excluding financial instruments like SPACs).
