On August 20, Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, published a lengthy article titled "The Book of Genesis," outlining the vision of Flop Labs and Flop Network, exploring the development direction of the AI agent economy and decentralized computing market. Hayes believes that as the scale of AI agents grows, future AI will need to possess the ability to autonomously acquire computing power, store memories, and participate in economic activities. Currently, the AI computing market mainly relies on centralized platforms and lacks a globally unified market priced in actual computing resources (FLOPs, or floating-point operations per second). He proposed that Flop Network will build a decentralized computing network based on blockchain, allowing computing resource providers to earn native token FLOP rewards through a "Proof of Useful Inference" (PoUI) mechanism. The FLOP token represents direct rights to the network's computing resources and can serve as the foundational currency for AI agents to acquire computing resources, store memories, and conduct transactions. Hayes believes that if the AI agent economy continues to grow, Flop Network could become an important infrastructure connecting AI and the crypto economy. Additionally, Flop Network will avoid the large-scale presale model typical of traditional projects, planning to airdrop about 20% of the token supply to testnet participants to promote a community-first development model. The project is currently still in the construction phase, with more technical details to be announced later.

Moderna shares more than doubled on 19 August 2026 after Merck and Moderna said the Phase 3 INTerpath-001 trial of intismeran autogene plus KEYTRUDA met its recurrence-free survival endpoint in resected melanoma. This page explains what the result is, why the stock reacted this hard, what is still unknown, which dates come next (presentation and earnings, both unconfirmed), and what a trader can actually do on WEEX — which does not list Moderna; the nearest instrument is the XBI-USDT biotech ETF perpetual.
