BlockBeats News, July 16th, according to official sources, BNB Chain has announced an upcoming upgrade that will increase the block gas limit to 1G by 2025, supporting 5,000 transactions per second and increasing throughput by 10x. The next-generation BNB Chain will achieve a final confirmation time of less than 150 milliseconds, over 20,000 TPS, built-in privacy features at the protocol level, and has undergone full-stack optimization, including:

Brand new Rust client: Faster sync, higher throughput;

Super instruction set: Simplifying complex smart contract execution;

Optimized StateDB: Speeding up access to a large amount of on-chain data.
