Boosters Acquires Purebio as a Subsidiary and Internalizes Material Technology

Boosters has incorporated the bio-material company Purebio as a subsidiary. This move aims to strengthen the business structure from raw material development to product planning and brand growth. Boosters plans to internalize Purebio's core material technology to promote product differentiation for K-beauty and K-healthcare brands. Purebio possesses technology to commercialize high-functional materials from lotus tree extracts and sea urchin shell extracts, and has secured a total of 13 domestic and international invention patents. Boosters will combine Purebio's research and development and manufacturing capabilities with its own branding, commerce, distribution, and marketing strengths. Boosters plans to utilize Purebio's materials in scalp, hair loss, skincare, and hair and body products. This acquisition occurred as Boosters expands its business scope into K-beauty and K-healthcare. Boosters has recently completed a 37.4 billion won round of redeemable convertible preferred stock (RCPS) investment. The company operates a business model that supports product planning, distribution, and marketing based on commerce data, utilizing over 3.4 billion commerce data points. Boosters stated that this investment has laid the foundation to connect differentiated material competitiveness with brand competitiveness.
