Critini Analyst Claims South Korea's AI Development is Overrated
Critini Research analyst Jukan stated after the ICML conference that South Korea is underperforming in AI development, with startups and university research being severely overrated. He pointed out that compared to China, South Korea's AI capabilities are almost negligible. Jukan suggested that South Korea should implement a talent policy similar to China's "Thousand Talents Plan" to attract overseas Korean researchers and top foreign talent; otherwise, it risks becoming a country reliant on foreign AI technology.
