Diego Santilli and Luis Caputo to Travel to Catamarca to Inaugurate Aqueduct Network
Prefer us on GoogleDiego Santilli, Chief of Cabinet, and Luis Caputo, Minister of Economy, will travel this Thursday to Catamarca to launch the Albigasta Aqueduct and Water Treatment Plants Network. They will meet with Governor Raúl Jalil and the Governor of Santiago del Estero, Elías Suárez. Initially, it was considered that Javier Milei could make the trip, but that option was discarded due to his priority to attend events in Ecuador and Colombia, where he will participate in the inauguration of Abelardo de la Spriella. So far, Jaldo is the only official who has formalized the splitting of the elections for next year, setting the elections for May 9, when Tucumán residents will elect a new provincial chief. Santilli continues to seek support for the government's projects in Congress. This Thursday, the Senate will debate the law on the Inviolability of Private Property, which includes a controversial chapter on the sale of land to foreigners, allowing for an evaluation of the relationship with the provinces. Electoral reform is also a concern for Casa Rosada, as Milei does not have the necessary votes to eliminate the Open, Simultaneous, and Mandatory Primaries (PASO), and his allies prefer a suspension.
