The State Property Fund of Ukraine is preparing to privatize the 100% state share of LLC "Drohobych Salt Plant," where salt has been produced for over 600 years. The new auction date and starting price have not yet been announced. The preliminary privatization, scheduled for August 13, was canceled due to a change in the privatization authority. Now, the sale will be handled by the Regional Office of the State Property Fund in the Lviv, Transcarpathian, and Volyn regions. The authorized capital of the enterprise is UAH 47.6 million, but this amount is not the starting price. The management of the salt plant supports privatization, hoping to attract investments and ensure transparency in the process. Earlier in 2024, privatization was planned with a starting price of UAH 57.6 million, but the city council advocated for transferring the plant to communal ownership. At the beginning of 2025, the procedure was suspended due to the anticipated reform of public-private partnerships.

Bitcoin tore through the mid-$60,000s, cleared $70,000, blew past $75,000, and briefly touched $79,000+ before easing back to around $77,000 — a 20%+ move in a single week. The mood across crypto flipped almost overnight. But a violent rally is only the opening act. The more explosive the move, the more it calls for a clear, calm mind.
