Dunamu, operator of South Korean crypto exchange Upbit, will not hold its Upbit D Conference (UDC) this year and plans a one-year break. Instead of hosting UDC in the second half of 2026, Dunamu has decided to sponsor Korea Blockchain Week (KBW) 2026 and focus on the Upbit Institutional Summit, a pre-event to KBW 2026. This marks the first suspension of UDC in eight years since its launch in 2018. A Dunamu official stated that UDC has provided valuable insights alongside the blockchain industry's growth over the past eight years and mentioned that the company is using 2026 to reorganize for its next phase, with plans to return with a more meaningful event after the revamp.
