Katis Signs Supply Contract for AI Security Screening Solutions with SeeTrue
Katis has signed a partnership agreement with Israeli AI security screening company SeeTrue Screening to supply AI security screening solutions for domestic airports and customs. This solution aims to automate security screening image interpretation by adding automatic threat detection software to CT and X-ray screening equipment. The AI first identifies hazardous items such as firearms and explosives, allowing security personnel to focus on confirming high-risk items. Katis plans to expand the detection targets to include drugs and undeclared foreign currency. SeeTrue, established in 2018, holds certifications from the U.S. TSA and the European ECAC. Its systems are operational at over 100 screening checkpoints in 10 countries worldwide, having detected approximately 3 million prohibited items in 2024 alone. Through this collaboration, Katis aims to build an AI-based next-generation security platform and emphasizes the importance of screening automation.
