Micron Executive Expects Memory Supply Shortage to Worsen Next Year

Micron Technology's Chief Business Officer Sumit Sadana stated at the 2026 KeyBanc Technology Leadership Forum that the company's business is on an excellent track, with financial performance continuing to be strong. Sadana pointed out that recent customer demand signals have strengthened, and he expects industry conditions to remain tight until 2027. He believes that the supply tightness in 2027 will exceed that of this year, as the growth rate of demand is outpacing the supply growth at the industry level.
