Optimism Has Not Repurchased OP Since Late May

Prefer us on GoogleOptimism has not repurchased OP as originally planned since late May. After completing the second and third rounds of monthly community repurchases in March and April, there have been no further repurchase actions. In March, 6,951,453 OP were repurchased using 367.91 ETH, and in April, 925,654 OP were repurchased using 50.16 ETH. To date, the total number of OP repurchased is 9,451,924. The Optimism Foundation previously released a new proposal suggesting the implementation of a 12-month plan starting in February, allocating 50% of Superchain revenue for OP repurchases, with updates to follow upon completion of the repurchase.
