Over the past year, retail investors have accumulated approximately $27 billion in Nvidia (NVDA) stock, making it the largest company by purchase volume among the seven giants of the U.S. stock market. Since October 2025, retail purchases of Nvidia have increased more than fourfold. Tesla (TSLA) ranks second with about $15 billion in purchases, while Microsoft (MSFT) received around $9 billion from retail investors. In contrast, Apple (AAPL) recorded approximately $5 billion in retail sales over the past year, making it the only company among the seven giants to experience net selling by retail investors. Nvidia remains the primary AI trading target for retail investors.
