Reuters: Despite Nvidia's Better-Than-Expected Earnings, Stock Price Could Still Fall
BlockBeats News, August 27th. Swissquote Bank analyst Ipek Ozkardeskaya stated that even though Nvidia (NVDA.O) reported better-than-expected earnings after Wednesday's close, the company's stock price could still decline. She said, "Investors may take the opportunity of positive earnings to take profits, which could accelerate a price pullback." Ozkardeskaya suggested that investors may consider diversifying away from expensive US tech stocks and look into other regions including Europe and the UK, or move into more defensive sectors. She believed that gold, US treasuries, and investment-grade bonds are also good options, as these assets may benefit from future rate cuts. (FXStreet)
