Sam Blackshear, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Mysten Labs, has announced that he will be leaving the company to join Anthropic, where he will focus on defensive security research. Blackshear stated that the current balance of power in offense and defense is shifting, and he is motivated to dive into the security field. He will continue to serve as an advisor for Mysten and the Sui ecosystem, and will be involved in the upcoming Move Foundation. The technical work at Mysten Labs will be taken over by @EvanWeb3.
