After the appointment of Sergey Koretsky as Prime Minister of Ukraine, the commercial director of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Sergey Fedorenko, will temporarily perform the duties of the head of the company. President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this following a meeting with the new Prime Minister. Zelensky noted that a critical priority is preparing for the heating season. The independent supervisory board of Naftogaz appointed Fedorenko to this position, emphasizing his professionalism and experience in transforming Ukrnafta. The President also mentioned new attacks by Russians on Naftogaz facilities, which have caused significant damage. He discussed with the Prime Minister the necessary steps in the context of ongoing attacks, stressing the importance of implementing agreements to prepare for winter. It is worth recalling that on July 16, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the appointment of Sergey Koretsky as Prime Minister.
