U.S. companies have released their second-quarter earnings reports, with S&P 500 companies expected to see a year-on-year earnings growth of 47.4%, the highest level in five years. According to FactSet, among the 158 U.S. companies that have reported earnings, 123 exceeded market expectations, 34 fell short, and 1 was flat. Overall, 138 companies achieved year-on-year revenue growth. Hugh Gimber, a global market strategist at JPMorgan, stated that U.S. companies are performing robustly, with positive developments over the past few weeks. While the technology sector is leading, more industries are also contributing to the growth.
