Strategy owns 845,050 bitcoin and has a reserve capital of approximately $66 billion, or €57 billion. Only Berkshire Hathaway has a higher position in Michael Saylor's comparison with financial companies in the S&P 500. The bitcoin inventory is crucial for this ranking, as the company has spent a total of about €54.8 billion to build this inventory. Recently, Strategy purchased 4,603 bitcoin for around €318 million, with an average purchase price of about €69,100 per bitcoin. It is important to note that Saylor's comparison does not use the same metrics as traditional corporate balance sheets, as Strategy also has billions in debt and preferred shares. The value of the reserves can fluctuate rapidly due to changes in the bitcoin price.
