On August 23, the U.S. economy showed signs of accelerated growth. The S&P Global U.S. Composite PMI rose by 1.5 points in August to 56.0, the highest level since April 2022, marking the third consecutive month of growth. The Services PMI increased by 2.2 points to 56.8, the highest level since March 2022. The Manufacturing PMI decreased by 0.7 points to 53.9, the lowest level in the past five months, but still remains in the expansion zone. U.S. companies are leading hiring activity in the services sector, adding employees at the fastest pace since January 2025. Data indicates that the U.S. GDP annual growth rate will reach 3.0% in the third quarter of 2026, up from 1.5% in the second quarter. Artificial intelligence is driving a historic wave of growth.
