The United States will deploy the USS Washington aircraft carrier to the Middle East, replacing the USS Lincoln, which has been on a long-term deployment. The USS Lincoln has been deployed since November of last year and has made very few port calls, raising concerns among lawmakers about the living conditions aboard the ship. The carrier played a crucial role in the "Epic Wrath" bombing campaign and participated in the blockade of Iranian ports. Lawmakers have pointed out that the crew faces the pressures of high-intensity operations and prolonged deployments, demanding the Pentagon provide more information regarding living conditions and mental health issues aboard the ship.
