The White House plans to co-host a tech leaders event with Trump tomorrow, featuring several leaders from the tech industry. Sources reveal that the prediction market company has not been invited to this event. Earlier reports indicated that Trump is expected to attend an innovation conference for the crypto industry next week at the White House, where discussions will take place with executives from various crypto companies, as well as leaders from prediction market and AI firms. Participants include executives from companies such as Coinbase, Ripple, Gemini, Robinhood, Polymarket, and Kalshi, all of whom are members of the newly established Innovation Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The meeting is expected to be held at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building next to the White House, aiming to facilitate policy dialogue around innovations in U.S. fintech, crypto assets, prediction markets, and artificial intelligence. CFTC Chairman Mike Selig and other government advisors are also expected to attend, with Treasury Secretary Yellen and Commerce Secretary Raimondo possibly in attendance.
