Banco Macro Reduces Rate and Extends Mortgage Loan Term to 20 Years
Banco Macro announced improvements to its mortgage loans, reducing the interest rate to UVA + 7.5% and extending the financing term to 20 years. This proposal is aimed at clients of the Select Salary Plan and allows the children of the account holders to apply for the loan individually under the same conditions. The line of credit can be used for purchasing a home, as well as for improvements, expansions, or renovations of properties, and will be available nationwide. The extension of the term aims to reduce the burden of the initial payment on income, expanding the number of eligible clients for financing. Juan Parma, CEO of Banco Macro, emphasized that these initiatives seek to send a concrete signal to the market, enabling clients and their children to access a lower initial payment and facilitating the purchase or improvement of a home in the current context of the country.
