Gulliver Shopping Center in Kyiv Sold for $207 Million
The state-owned Sberbank and Ukreximbank have put the Gulliver shopping and office complex up for open bidding through the "Prozorro.Sales" system. The starting price of the property is set at $207 million. The open auction is intended to determine the market price of the complex and attract both Ukrainian and foreign buyers. Gulliver is one of the well-known properties in the center of Kyiv, covering more than 157,000 square meters, and includes retail spaces and office premises located near three metro stations. The building is owned by Sberbank (80%) and Ukreximbank (20%). The decision to sell was made at the end of July after the completion of legal formalities regarding the seizure of the collateral property. Sberbank's CEO Yuriy Kaсion noted that the complex has stable tenants, making the asset attractive even considering the military risks. The proceeds from the sale are planned to be directed to the budget.
