Bitfinex Securities Launches ALKN, a Security Token Linked to High-Purity Nickel Wire

Bitfinex Securities has announced the raising of $50 million for the Luxembourg industrial metals platform Alkemya Metacore, preparing to launch the security token ALKN linked to high-purity nickel wire. The platform relies on a stock of high-purity nickel wire valued at approximately $1.6 billion, with a total length of 7 million meters, primarily used in sectors such as semiconductors, aerospace, and defense. ALKN will be open for primary subscription to qualified investors, with a deadline of October 15. The raised funds will be used to develop engineering nickel products, covering applications such as green hydrogen, aiming to transform industrial nickel into tradable and collateralizable on-chain assets.
