DeepSeek officially launched its new V4 pricing today, charging peak rates for 7 hours a day and half price for the remaining 17 hours.
On the first day of the price increase, domestic and international channels have officially forked: some domestic companies have directly followed the price increase, some will raise prices a few days later, and some continue to sell at lower prices; many overseas platforms are still cheaper than DeepSeek's original prices.
Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud: Directly follow the price increase. Both companies' V4 Flash and V4 Pro official versions have synchronized with DeepSeek's new prices, with peak and off-peak rates consistent with the original manufacturer.
Huawei Cloud, Volcano Engine: Will raise prices a few days later. Huawei will adjust on August 20, and has divided day and night pricing, offering a 30% discount at night; Volcano Engine will only raise prices on August 21, and is still charging the old price today.
Kuaishou Wanjing, Baidu: Continue with their own pricing systems. Kuaishou Wanjing's V4 Flash is currently still charging 1 yuan for input and 2 yuan for output, which is cheaper than DeepSeek's off-peak rates; Baidu's Token Plan has not copied the original manufacturer's peak and off-peak prices, with DeepSeek's night rates starting at 20% off.
OpenRouter: Still offering discounts. The current page for V4 Flash even shows a 33% discount, with input/output prices around $0.06/$0.12. However, it dynamically switches between different suppliers, so this price may change at any time.
OpenCode: Follows the price increase for the pay-as-you-go version, but cuts the quota for the subscription version. Zen has fully synchronized with DeepSeek's peak and off-peak prices; the monthly fee for Go remains $5 for the first month and $10 thereafter, but the monthly quota for V4 Flash has dropped from $60 on the previous page to $15, a reduction of 75%. Note that the monthly cap for the entire Go package remains $60, and the cut is specifically for the DeepSeek Flash model's quota.
Command Code: No cuts to the package, price increase passed directly to users. Monthly fees and credits remain unchanged, but DeepSeek is now more expensive, so the same credits can handle fewer requests; the official statement claims that during peak times, only about half of the off-peak volume can be processed.
DeepInfra, RunInfra, GMI Cloud, Novita: Overseas low prices continue. V4 Flash is currently priced at approximately $0.08/$0.18, $0.13/$0.27, $0.14/$0.28, and $0.14/$0.28, all at fixed prices throughout the day, without copying DeepSeek's peak and off-peak pricing.
Domestically, there are now three camps: those who synchronize the price increase, those who delay the increase, and those who continue to offer low prices; most overseas API platforms are still undercutting prices, while Coding Agent has begun to absorb the price increase from the package quotas.
Now, purchasing from different channels, the prices and usage of DeepSeek models can vary by several times.
