Madison Huang, Senior Director of Product Marketing for NVIDIA Omniverse and Robotics, will visit the Data Factory at LG Electronics' R&D campus in Yangjae, Seocho-gu, Seoul, on the 18th. During the visit, Huang is expected to discuss partnerships informally with senior officials from LG Electronics. The Data Factory is a robotic training infrastructure that helps robots learn operational experience data in environments similar to reality. This visit follows strategic business cooperation discussions between Koo Kwang-mo, Chairman of LG Group, and Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA. The collaboration between LG Electronics and NVIDIA is expanding into physical AI, AI infrastructure, and mobility, with LG proposing joint development of reference robots based on NVIDIA's Isaac Grove ecosystem. NVIDIA has announced plans to build an AI factory with LG Group to support robotics and data center technologies. LG Electronics is generating training data for robotics and industrial AI projects through the Physical AI Data Factory, which requires repetitive learning data that closely resembles real environments. LG is currently developing a bipedal humanoid robot based on the NVIDIA platform, aiming for a public release in the first quarter of next year. Since joining NVIDIA in 2020, Huang has been responsible for product marketing related to the expansion of the physical AI ecosystem. LG Electronics plans to reorganize its robotics business unit and activate the Data Factory this year.
