The finals of the world's first digital asset tracking competition, 'SCAN 2026', will take place at 9 AM on September 28 at Monaco Space in Seocho-gu, Seoul. SCAN 2026 is organized by D.A. Asset to enhance cybersecurity and investigative capabilities in the digital asset space, with Chainalysis participating as the CTF partner. The finals will feature the top 20 teams selected from the preliminary rounds, which saw a total of 416 teams competing. The finalist teams include 0xfun, 1nf1n1ty, 67, BITSkrieg, CertiScan, DeFiHackLabs, EDCCS, Funds Went to Kerning City, hello, IBarelyKnowHer, J0y_B0y, lazarus2026, Lv1x, Project Sekai, T34M1, Tardigrades, Tornado Cats, youtiaos, Upside Academia, and Chaos of KAOS. The team members are fourth-year students from Ulsan University, Ajou University, and Seoul Women's University, as well as graduates from Korea University, who formed their team during the Upside Academy's fourth session. They expressed their excitement about joining with others interested in Web3 security. In preparation for the finals, they are improving their analysis agents and mentioned that if they win the prize, they would like to treat their parents to an omakase meal.
